The Nigerian government has concluded plans to begin evacuation of Nigerians fleeing Ukraine from Wednesday.

Minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama made this known at a meeting with the speaker of Nigeria’s legislative assembly, Femi Gbajabiamila.

He noted that the President, Muhammadu Buhari, had approved an airlift of Nigerians willing to return to the country.
