Following the death of 42 people as a result of an outbreak of measles, Nigeria’s North Eastern State of Adamawa has ordered the immediate closure of all schools.

Authorities say the closure is to curtail the spread of the disease and to allow for vaccination of age groups vulnerable to the disease.
