As the 2025 Deadline set by Nigeria to end Open Defecation draws nearer, government agencies are intensifying sensitization campaigns for citizens to embrace the use of public toilets being constructed around the country.
In Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, the authorities 2021 promised to construct ten thousand such facilities around the capital city but so far less than one hundred of the facilities have been constructed.
In this report, WADR’s Abuja Correspondent, Usman Umar, says employees and users of the facilities already in use, are happy and urging the government to construct more.
