Nigeria’s opposition Labour Party has rejected the Supreme Court ruling which affirmed President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 Presidential poll.
In a unanimous vote, the seven-member panel of the Apex Court dismissed the petitions filed by Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) challenging Tinubu’s win.
Reacting to the verdict, Julius Abure National Chairman of the LP Party, described the ruling eroding the democratic gains and values of Nigeria.
Abure preached hope to Nigerians while calling on the international community to help work with them through the process.
