On Monday this week, Nigeria's National Assembly Senate Committee on health held a public hearing on the amendment of five health related bills including one seeking to amend the Medical and Dental Council Act.
Among those present at the hearing were representatives of the Joint Health Workers Union. But at a news conference on Wednesday, the union threatened to down tools over what they described as bias against its members during the hearing at the national assembly.
