Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has so far declared twenty-one out of twenty-eight States where Governorship elections were conducted last Saturday. 

Among the States declared the electoral umpire is Benue State, North Central Nigeria, where a Catholic Priest, under the ruling All Progressives Congress APC was declared the winner.
