Reactions are multiplying in the streets of the country, after the change of the national anthem.
Nigeria has opted for a return to the old national anthem, composed by a British woman in 1959 and adopted at the country’s Independence. It was abandoned in 1978.
This anthem was re-adopted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, after being approved by Parliament and the Senate. Some Nigerians have spoken out about this change
