The Bring Back Our Girls Movement in Nigeria has criticized the Nigerian government of failing to take adequate measures to protect students from armed violence.
This group was founded in 2014, to advocate for the safe return of hundreds of kidnapped schoolgirls from the town of Chibok in Borno state – northeast Nigeria.
The statement by the movement, comes days after hundreds of schoolboys were kidnapped from the Government Science School in Kankara, Katsina state North-West Nigeria, late on Friday.
One of the coordinators of the movement, Nifemi Onifade, spoke to WADR, urging the government to take concrete measures to improve security across the country.
