Nigeria and Bangladesh on Thursday held talks on connecting business opportunities in pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors for the benefit of both countries.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mansudur Rahman during the business dialogue held in Nigeria's capital Abuja revealed that the South Asian country which is reportedly one of the largest pharmaceutical industries in the world is projected to grow 15 per cent year-on-year, reaching US$ 51.1 billion by 2023.
He assured of his government's commitment to strengthening ties with Nigeria to improve its local production of essential medicines.
