Authorities in Nigeria’s Kebbi State have arrested more than 200 undocumented immigrants in a security operation targeting illegal migration. The individuals were found living in a cramped three-bedroom apartment in the state capital, Birnin Kebbi.
According to the Nigerian Police Service, the arrests are part of a broader crackdown on undocumented migrants linked to fraudulent schemes. Officials specifically cited Qnet, an organization suspected of engaging in illegal activities.
The police have vowed to intensify their operations to curb unlawful migration and associated crimes in the region.
