In a major operation against human trafficking, Ghanaian authorities have repatriated 231 Nigerians.

The victims, mostly young men and women, were lured to Ghana with false promises of opportunity.

Instead, they were forced into internet fraud activities before being rescued by law enforcement.

Nigerian officials have pledged support for the returnees as investigations continue.
