The NGO’s Forum says it is alarmed with the trend of abductions and killings of human rights defenders in Guinea, Burkina Faso and Zimbabwe.

The forum also expressed concerns on human rights violations in countries that experienced the overthrow of governments in recent years including Mali, Guinea, Niger and Burkina Faso.

The human right defenders further stated Africa is still at cross roads in terms of human rights challenges.
