Nigeria’s highest economic decision-making body, the National Economic Council, has expressed genuine concerns over the proposed strike by organized labor and the consequences of such actions on the national economy at such a critical time.

NEC therefore urged all members of the council to intensify the options of dialogue with labor leaders in their respective States towards averting the proposed industrial unrest.
