The Minority in Ghana’s Parliament has written to the police informing the service of its decision to embark on a demonstration exercise on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
The MPs seek to protest against the Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Ernest Addison, and his deputies after they issued a 21-day ultimatum about a fortnight ago for them to resign.
The Apex Bank had revealed a 5 billion US Dollars in losses incurred in the 2022 fiscal year and budgeting to use 250 million US Dollars to build a new headquarters in times of such grave financial austerity.
