A delegation from the African Union’s Peace and Security Council on Monday embarked on a crucial mission to Burkina Faso.
The primary objective of this diplomatic mission was to evaluate the nation’s security and humanitarian conditions.
Through a series of discussions and engagements with the Burkinabe transitional government led by Captain Ibrahim Traore, the African Union seeks to extend its support to the country in addressing the pressing challenges it faces.
The AU said it will focus on collaborating closely with the government to foster peace, security, and stability in the region.
