The Chadian government has sent on retirement several Generals of the army, with some including former comrades-in-arms of the late presidents Hissein Habré and Idriss Déby Itno.
By a decree signed on Tuesday, the Transitional President retired 47 General Officers. They are Lieutenant, Division and Brigadier Generals. This, is in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance 002 of 13 January 2022 on the General Status of Military Personnel.
