In Guinea, there seems to be hope in efforts toward a return to constitutional order nearly two years after the coup against former President Alpha Condé.
This is after the National Transitional Council led by Colonel Mamadi Doumbouyaopened a constitutional orientation debate following the Symposium on Constitutionalism held in February.
As Sankulleh Janko reports, the debate, which began on Monday, May 15, 2023, is set to conclude on May 30, 2023
