New Russian instructors arrived over the weekend in Niger. They were received in Niamey by the head of the military in power, General Abdourahmane Tiani.

In their luggage, they brought several pieces of war equipment. The Russians now occupy the base in Niamey where the American force was stationed and subsequently pushed out.

Thus, Niger is demonstrating the strengthening of its security cooperation with Russia.
