New revelation in Ghana finance minister $100 million corruption scandal

the Public Utilities and Accountability Committee of Ghana announced Thursday that the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta failed to pay an amount of over $100 Million into the Petroleum Holding Fund of the country.

Addressing the Censure Committee, PIAC moved the motion that this is a serious breach of the ACT 6&7 of the Petroleum Revenue Management Act

Recall, the finance minister is facing censure by a parliamentary committee currently to probe into issues relating to a public outcry to remove him from office over his incompetence and incapabilities in the discharge of his duties.
