In Côte d’Ivoire, two presidential hopefuls have announced a fresh political coalition ahead of the October 2025 election. The new alliance, named the Alliance for Justice, the Nation, and Change (AJUNA), brings together Vincent Toh Bi Irié and Assalé Tiémoko Antoine.
Vincent Toh Bi Irié, former prefect of Abidjan and leader of the New Dawn movement, said the coalition reflects a shared vision for national renewal. His counterpart, Assalé Tiémoko Antoine, deputy mayor of Tiassalé and head of the ADCI movement, echoed similar sentiments.
Both leaders hinted at the possibility of a joint candidacy in the upcoming polls, promising further announcements soon.
AJUNA’s emergence adds new dynamics to Côte d’Ivoire’s political landscape as the election season intensifies.
