The call for a week-long national strike by private and vocational high schools in Mali has been observed in Bamako. On the second day of the strike, students in exam classes are concerned that the action may have repercussions for the remainder of the academic year.
Many vocational and high schools have remained closed as the advocates for these institutions demand over 50 billion CFA francs in contributions from the state.
