Mixed reactions have emerged across The Gambia following Parliament’s approval to deploy troops as part of the ECOWAS stabilization forces in Sierra Leone. 

The decision came after Vice President Muhammed B.S Jallow presented a motion on behalf of President Adama Barrow, urging Parliament to consider and ratify the deployment for peacekeeping purposes.
