Spain has signed agreements with Mauritania and The Gambia to strengthen cooperation against illegal migrant smugglers to Europe and in favor of regulated migration.
This came to light during a tour of the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, aimed at countering the influx of African illegal immigrants into his country.
The Spanish Prime Minister has been touring some West African nations with the aim of stemming the rise in undocumented migration to Europe and curb Russia’s growing influence in the region.
