In Ménaka, a region in northern Mali, traditional authorities, opinion leaders, and executives from the area, they were gathered in a Collective, to express their support for the new draft constitution.
The group also calls on the rest of the Malian people to validate it in a referendum.
In a press release, the collective said it was satisfied with several modifications in the draft constitution, compared to the 1992 constitution.
Meanwhile, the state announced the deployment of 4,000 young people across the country to facilitate the enrollment process for the biometric card.
