The Malian foreign affairs minister says Bamako will not justify its military cooperation with Russia.

The cooperation includes strengthening the Malian armed forces’ capabilities as well as the importation of oil and wheat.

Abdoulaye Diop made the remark at a press conference during Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s visit to the Sahelian country.
