Speaking at the ongoing UN General Assembly in New York, Mali’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdoolaye Diop also solicited international support to end terrorism in the Sahel.
He emphasized the financing and proliferation of firearms in the region as major factors responsible for the surge in recent attacks.
Amid the rising insecurity, Abdoulaye Diop stresses that the transitional government is on track for good governance.
