The preliminary investigation and police custody at the Malian Economic and Financial Department in the case of the company in charge of energy came to an end.

Multiple high-ranking executives from the Energy and Water Development Company (EDM), including the former General Manager Koureïchi Konaré and the former Energy Minister Lamine Seydou Traoré, are facing accusations of forgery and infringement of public property.

The case is set to proceed to the appropriate legal authorities for further action.
