Reactions have continued to trail the political landscape since the dissolution of the Independent National Electoral Commission CENI in Mali.
On February 1, the Malian transitional government ended the activities of CENI, the body that tasked with the conduct of elections in the country.
The Malian authorities have immediately set up a single body to manage the elections, which will be held during the 18-month transition period.
The dissolution of the Electoral umpire has not been viewed favorably by the M5, a group that championed the call for the resignation of former president Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.
A leader of the movement Ikassa Maïga, says, the dissolution was a hasty decision.
He spoke with Alpha Aboubacar of the French service.
