Armed independence groups of northern Mali, united within the CSP, announced the set up of a blockade in the north of the country.

This blockade concerns the main towns in the northern region according to the permanent strategic framework.

This comes just over a month after the Malian army took the town of Kidal, now referred to as a former stronghold of the armed independence groups in northern Mali.
