Mali’s authorities have announced that schools will not reopen on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Primary and fundamental education students will remain on vacation for at least another month.

This decision was made by Malian authorities due to the floods that have affected thousands of families, forcing them to seek refuge in classrooms.
