Former Prime Minister of Mali, Boubou Cissé, on Wednesday denied any involvement in a plan to destabilize the transitional authorities.
The former PM and several personalities, including a half-brother of Mr. Cissé, were questioned.
He said in a statement that he is being falsely associated with plans to undermine peace in the country.
At least four people including activist and star radio host Mohamed Youssouf Bathily, known as "Ras Bath", have been arrested since Monday by the General Directorate of State Services (DGSE) for "the needs of an investigation" whose objectives have not been announced.
