the President of the transition, Colonel Assimi Goïta, officially installed the steering committee for the inter-Malian dialogue for peace and reconciliation on Monday.

The 140-member committee will be chaired by a former prime minister.

Its task will be to draw up the terms of reference for the dialogue and submit a report at the end of the discussions with the parties involved.
