The transitional government of Mali has announced the immediate severance of diplomatic relations with Ukraine.

In a statement, Malian authorities condemned comments made by Ukrainian officials, which they claim promote terrorism in Mali.

They also announced that they will notify the relevant judicial authorities about these remarks. Malian authorities are calling on the international community to respond.
