There is a growing concern from Mali’s political stakeholders following the transitional parliament’s approval of the 2024 budget.

As the budget reached its approval stage, there’s no allocation set aside for the upcoming elections, initially scheduled for February 2024.

However, the transitional authorities have since decided to postpone these elections.
