Liberian new President Joseph Boakai continues to come under criticism for appointing individuals to occupy tenure positions, which is in violation of the country’s constitution.

Article 25 of the Liberian Constitution upholds the sanctity of contracts and prohibits the Legislature from enacting laws or policies that contradict this principle.
