The composition of individuals appointed by Liberian President Joseph Boakai to lead the country’s asset recovery efforts has generated mixed feelings among Liberians.
The Liberian leader recently issued an executive order establishing the Asset Recovery Team with a mandate to spearhead efforts in identifying, tracing, and retrieving assets that have been illegally acquired or converted to private use by government officials.
