International partners such as the European Union, the United States and other countries have rallied support to standardize Liberia’s electricity sector and increase the flow of electricity to the majority of the population.
Electricity remains a luxury for millions of Liberians in both urban and rural communities 21 years after the end of a brutal civil war that witnessed the destruction of the national power networks.
