More than seven opposition political parties in Liberia have jointly rejected the outcome of the 2022 National Population and Housing Census, which was released recently.
The parties are citing concerns about the accuracy of the census data, and are urging the government to conduct an independent investigation.
According to preliminary results released by the Statistics House, the census shows an increase in Liberia’s population from 4.5 million to 5.2 million.
