The Judiciary branch of the Liberian government has described the allotment of US$20 million by the Legislature as its share of the 2024 national budget as a gross disrespect and inequality, hence they have rejected it. 

The formulation of the national budget process starts with the Executive branch of government and is later submitted to the Legislature for scrutiny and appropriation; hence the allotment to the Judiciary.
