Liberia’s ban on commercial cyclists reversed

Following a series of protests by commercial motorcyclists, the Liberia National Police has reversed its initial plan to ban commercial motorcycle activities in the city limit of Monrovia.

The move to institute the no go zone policy was intended to ensure safety and reduce the number of accidents associated with reckless driving on the part of some motorcyclists, something they have kicked against.
