Liberian citizens are growing alarmed by the escalating threats to their country’s peace emanating from certain followers of the major opposition party, Unity Party.
Prince Johnson, a former warlord who infamously captured and killed the country’s former president, Samuel K. Doe, on camera during the 1990s, recently issued a menacing warning.
He threatened to instigate a form of violence reminiscent of the Arab Spring should the government interfere with the upcoming elections.
