Liberian citizens are expressing optimism regarding the involvement of ECOWAS in resolving the ongoing political impasse in the House of Representatives. A five-member mediation mission, led by Hadja Memounatou Ibrahima, Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, is currently on a week-long working visit.
The mission aims to facilitate dialogue among all stakeholders and work toward a parliamentary resolution of the conflict. Many Liberians view this intervention as a positive step toward restoring stability and ensuring the continuation of democratic processes in the country. Grace Joshua reports from Monrovia on this development.
