The Liberian Electoral Commission is cautioning political parties and their supporters against premature celebrations ahead of the official announcement of the runoff election results.

On Tuesday night and again on Wednesday morning, supporters of both political parties took to the streets in parts of the capital, Monrovia, claiming victory for their respective candidates before the official results were released by the Elections Commission.
