Massive preparations are currently ongoing in Central Liberia, Gbarnge to receive over 4,300 soon to be repatriated Liberians who are stranded in the former refugee camp, Buduburam in Ghana.
The camp has been home to Liberians for the past 35 years after thousands fled two brutal civil wars between 1989 and 2003.
Speaking with local journalists in Gbarnge, the head of the Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission—Patrick Worzie provided a progress report on the entire project.
