The United Methodist Human Rights Monitor is calling for the election of an opposition speaker to ensure a balance of power in Liberia.

The monitor’s Program Director, Jefferson Knight, although the outgoing and the incoming regime are contested for the speaker’s position; insists an opposition speaker will ensure a balance of power.
