Liberian President George Weah has delivered his final New Year’s Day address, urging fellow Liberians to uphold and preserve the nation’s peace.
This appeal from President Weah comes amidst reports that a faction within his Congress for Democratic Change plans to organize a large-scale protest during the upcoming inauguration of the new government on January 22, 2024.
