President Joseph Boakai has issued Executive Order No. 142 to streamline revenue collection from international travel.

The order suspends the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on international travel services and introduces a fixed levy on airline tickets for passengers departing Liberia.

This measure aims to improve revenue mobilization and address challenges in GST collection, especially for online ticket purchases.
