Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea have secured funding for phase three of the Mano River Union Road Development and Transport Facilitation Programme.
The joint initiative aims to transform regional connectivity, making trade and transport easier across the historically underdeveloped Mano River corridor.
Governments say the project will help unlock economic growth and cooperation, especially in post-conflict areas that still suffer from poor infrastructure.
The effort reflects a growing push for integration and shared development goals in West Africa.
