Liberia hires investigator over sunken ship

Liberia has brought in an International Investigator to probe the sinking of the NIKO IVANKA vessel. The vessel sunk on July 17, 2021, near the coast of Marshall City in Margibi County, while enroute to Maryland County in the south of the country.

More than ten people are still missing since the sinking of the vessel about a week ago.
