In Liberia, the Center for Transparency and Accountability in Liberia (CENTAL) has strongly criticized the new government for its inability to effectively address corruption.
Despite the presence of anti-corruption laws and institutions, CENTAL expressed disappointment over the lack of tangible actions to curb corrupt practices, which continue to undermine governance and public trust in the country.
The organization urged the government to take urgent and decisive measures to demonstrate a genuine commitment to transparency and accountability.
